a while ago Visi Magazine use to release these nice
origami pages. Plus they gave you the paper ( colour ones )
to do it with. So cool to have an interactive component in ?

Like Material | Pine Suspended Cabinet in Visi #30
Really like this strip pine suspended cabinet, found it in
Visi Issue 30, Rudolp Perold's flat.
Looks like an easy DIY project ( if you can do woodwork...)
plus might be really nice to have a strip from one side straight to the over
to tie the room together. Dear Rudolp, please remove the lame poster

Like Event + Object : Spring: Excellence, Talent and Inspiration in Design, at Eindhovens Designhuis museum, 22 October to 31 December 2011 | Mine Kafon by Massoud Hassani for Design Academy Eindhoven
22 October ? 31 December 2011
" To mark the 10th anniversary of the Dutch Design Week, Premsela and the Dutch Design Week will host the exhibition Spring: Excellence, Talent and Inspiration in Design, at Eindhovens Designhuis museum. The exhibition will illuminate links between designers from different generations and countries. It will feature work by 15 acclaimed Dutch designers who got their start in Eindhoven, like Maarten Baas, Richard Hutten, Jurgen Bey, Piet Hein Eek, Volvos Corien Pompe and Ikeas Monika Mulder, as well as those whove influenced them and emerging talents that inspire them. Each acclaimed designer will also choose a promising young designer to share the spotlight.
Maarten Baas chose Massoud Hassani to share the spotlight with him. Massoud Hassani spends his childhood in Afghanistan, where he would make miniature models to be blown by the wind. Sometimes they would end up in a minefield, from where he could not retrieve them. This childhood memory was the inspiration for his graduation project Mine Kafon, for the Design Academy Eindhoven. The Mine Kafon functions as an anti-landmine device and will roll about detonating any mines in its path, creating safe paths to walk on. Every destroyed land mine means a saved life
In the Spring exhibition, some of Maarten Baas iconic pieces will be shown together with Massoud Hassanis Mine Kafon."

brilliant isometrics :
And on another note
I read this quote on Twitter by World Future Society
""The theory on career development: what psychology says about choosing your passion" - Steven Mandzik on the WFS blog: " (link) ...
I then Google-Imaged' World Future" and came across this image
of a deforested Amazon....eish
What ???
" Deforestation in the Amazon, carried over the last 20 years, is now thrice the size of Italy. " (link)
The Rest of the Images were your usual match-up of SuperGreenMeetSuperMachine
graphics. Pretty Nasty Stuff. Much prefer this photo I found over at Inhabitat
making me excited that the future will be just as much as what we do with the spaces
inbetween/left-over as by building new super-green-farm-living-towers
Imagine Buildings built with just trees ? I dont see why not ?
Especially buildings generally associated with strong experiential qualities
Perhaps Objects inside the Buidling of Trees should
be constructed of flowers...

And just because Im a little bit hungry right now, FUTURE FOOD has got some incredible looking stuff, not that
