Like Graphic | Landscapes - Swartbergpas by Anton Kannemeyer at Stevenson, JHB

" For me, the portrait is less abstract than the landscape. In landscape you can find any number of different forms: rocks, trees, plants, stones, sand, grass, boulders, manmade objects such as roads and walls. As far as line is concerned you resolve everything differently. I think this is what gives the image its potency: an unpredictable line.  "  (source)

Like Idea + Spaces | Around the World - Elle Decoration South Africa

One of my favourite shoots this year by Elle Decoration South Africa, is the Deco-Idea
Article, World Wide Walls. Freckin love the African Doll infront of the China Wall
or the Books on the Argentina Wall. Pretty much cooler than Amelie's Knome. That
thing is just freaky.

Like Place | Paarman Manor in Constantia, Cape Town, South Africa, #Visi32

We all know Ina Paarman spices, but when I found this
article in the Visi #32 (longago issue), i was quite wide-eyed
with the beauty of the gardens. ( 8200 SQM)

(images scanned in from visi magazine #32)

" The site is located on the north facing slope of Constantia on sandy clay soils.  The topograghy consisted of grass terraces and stone retaining structures.  The site included numerous distinctive mature trees which imparted a great influence towards the design process.  These included Cork Oaks, Outeniquq Yellowoods , wild Peach trees, ancient fruit Olives and exotic, smaller indigenous trees "
